Find bargain family Far North Coast Accommodation
Guarding the top end of a suburban stretch of largely unspoiled beachfront on the Far North Coast of New South Wales, Kingscliff is a peaceful little family resort. Although the town teems during the school holiday breaks with NSW and southern Queensland families who have been returning to Kingscliff for generations, it is a haven for off-season travellers, drawn by huge expanses of uncrowded beaches and rewarding fishing spots.
More and more visitors are choosing Kingscliff as a peaceful, ocean-side base from which they can explore the beautiful Tweed River Valley, the border hinterland or the flesh pots, bright lights, golf courses and theme parks of the Gold Coast. Brisbane and Byron Bay, the northern river towns such as Lismore and Grafton and the rainforest parks in the border ranges, too, are within comfortable driving distance for day-trippers. There are many outlets from which visitors can buy locally grown sub-tropical fruit and coffee and locally caught seafood.
